when i first looked at this mod i said to myself "what the hell am i going to use this for?"

but now i thought like others already said you can use it like as the old classic D&D would
just needs some tweaking to do so
which im not even close to being ready to do for i have so many other projects that are more important to do

actually i was just going to do a bit of tweaking for my own personal needs
it wasnt going to be anything serious
and i dont think anyone else would ever even need to use my slightly changed version

oh yeah and as i cant remember perl that well without lookng it up can you tell me how to call subroutines from other files?
i probably could find it in a few hours but i bet you know it off the top of your head

Never be too sure of that. I for one would at least love to hear what you are thinking of changing. Maybe it is something nice that I haven't tought of myself yet?

Carsten, Maybe something for the next version?
What about a 'reapet x times' box for the roll-post version of this mod... So if you have it roll 1d20, and you say 'repeat 3 times', it would repeat the roll three times, adding all the resullts to one roll-post in the order they were generated. Thus creating one roll post with several results in it.... Shouldn't be to big of a change in the code either..... A little extra loop and some small changes would probably do the trick...

Carsten... You really should be asleep at this time of day. (And so should I, so why the **** am I still up coding perl???

Anyway.... This function is usually only useful when you need to generate a set of rolls based on the same dice, which isn't all to often really. (What did this have to do with your question? I am getting tired)
So, when you do need something like this, in most cases it would be a single-digit number... I can't think of any case actually when this wouldn't be enough... So in other words.. I believe 9 should be plenty....

Anyway... Did a little modification in DiceAddRoll.pl, and this is what my result ended up like:
