I have posted a question for some weeks but get no answers until today. Can anyone tell me the Funktion and the Idea of "Add Roll"?

What the Fields Quantity, Die Typw, Modifier do and for wich is the "Field" Description"?

I dont have any Idea. Please Help me....

Punt, Any new versions of this?

I'm going to try to convert this over to YaBB2 (see This Thread) and could use assistance since I've never done anything like this before - well, not to this extent.

I would also like to know if I should give some credit to the original authors once it's all said and done?

Hello Andrew,

Add Roll will post a roll result in your thread.

Quantity is the # of dice you want to roll.

Die Type is how many sides you want on the die rolled.

Modifier is for adding or subtracting from your rolled result.

Description is just a little blurb about why you are rolling.

In a role-playing game, you frequently roll all sorts of die for different results.  For instance, a two-handed sword attack on another guy would be the results of 3 six-sided dice added together with the strength modifier of the character.  If Sir Dude was relatively strong, he might have a +3 on his strength modifier.  So the results would be posted using Add Dice, selecting quantity of 3, d6-sided, and a +3 modifier.  Sir Dude would type in the description "Damage with my Two-handed Sword".

Hope this helps.
