I edited manually, then rebuilt the message index.

I got this error.

Untrapped Error:
Undefined subroutine &main::Sticky_Add_Del called at /home/velmag/public_html/thehappiestbody/forum/Admin/Admin.pl line 804.

I'm attaching the unmodified files for steps 10 and 14.  I kept an unmodified copy on my computer.

I only have one question?  Am I suppose to download a new  MessageIndex.pl and upload
it to the sources folder? Tongue

oh yeah almost forgot to ask Tongue  which messageindex.pl file should I use? :dunce2:

Hmm.. I installed 2.5V and uploaded all the files and made and uploaded a stickies.txt...as far as i can tell it is working?  Do I even need this messageindex.plfile update?

Hi im still getting this problem after installing 2.5 I can get round it by removing teh sticky before i unlockit. I was just wondering if anybody had a fix/update for this.

I have a theory about this... may be wrong, but I think this only happens on boards that are really old, like the ones that were around prior to the upgrade to YaBB 2.1.  I have the same problem on some boards, but not on others, and the ones I don't have problems with are all newer boards. 

So, my suggestion to you, if you find this to be true with you as well... make new boards, move all your threads over from the old boards to the new boards... delete the old boards.  Problem will go away on its own.  No code fix necessary.

Please, do tell me if I'm just talking out my butt though.

Hi, i have been getting the problem on the new boards too.  I just created a new bord to aswell to test it out, but the same thing happens.

if it works for you then you must be onto something. Just because it didn't work for me does not mean it wont work for other people.

i would be intrested to find out who else this works for.
