Thanks again!

Lately, I've noticed a lot of weird behavior with sticky threads on my board.  I think there may be some mods battling with each other behind the scene... but I haven't isolated a specific cause yet.

Sometimes, sticky threads show up twice.  Sometimes, sticky threads don't show the sticky icon, and are not shuffleable.  Sometimes when you remove the sticky, the entire thread disappears... but if you're smart about it, you can back your browser, and select sticky again and make the thread reappear. Today, I've found two sticky threads that seemed to have made themselves unsticky inexplicably.

A while back, after I  completed with the mod uploads, yes.  Do you think doing that might fix the problem(s) when it shows up again?

Strangely enough I had a similar problem to this for the first time today and wondered if it may be related to 'Sticky Shimmy Shuffle'.

I have an existing message that is sticky and locked. I often update this message by unlocking the message, editing, saving and then relocking the message. When I did this today after I locked the message it disappeared as if I had deleted it. I tried to go back in my browser which worked so I saved it and it was visible once again. I still needed it locked so I locked it and once again it disappeared. Again I managed to recover it by going back in the browser. I saved it again but this time I changed it to not sticky. I then made it sticky again and also locked the file and this worked ok. I'll check out the Rebuild BoardTotal and Rebuild MessageIndex as Jet Li suggested and also try v2.5.

I tried doing the mod.  I downloaded the 12 files indicated.  This is the report I got as the mod didn't complete.

Not sure what to do about this.  This is the first mod I've ever done, so there are no other mods conflicting.

Edited to add:  Just looked at my version, and I'm 2.1.  I'm thinking that may be contributing to the issue.

Step 10 referrs to the ModifyMessage.pl, and Step 14 is for the post.pl.  Not sure if you need to know that or not...you likely already know.
