	Did you upload the changed AdminEditpl and language file (english is default so if you use another one you need to manually add the text lines to your lng file). The you would find a few new entries in the mailtype section of your forum settings.

	No I didn't actually...Where can I find it and in which directory should it be uploaded? The same as the Settings.pl? Sounds like that's the problem...

	I'm having the same problem that someone else mentioned earlier. When doing something like retrieving a password or registering, it says the email has been sent, but it never shows up in my INBOX. This happens whether I have the option "The SMTP server needs relay authorization" checked or not. The server is an Apache server and I am trying to use an SMTP server on another host since my web server does not have one. Should this mod be capable of doing this?

	If there is no error response from the smtp server you have to assume that the communication sequence between yabb and the server has been completed succesfully.

	i installed this mod a few months back on a 1.3.1 and had it working through my isp which is earthlink. for some reason, i now get a "503 AUTH command used when not advertised" error. any help?

	changing helo to ehlo gets rid of any errors, but the mail isn't sent.

	I am confused about the parameters SMTP-Server and "Your SMTP mail domain name" aren't these the same? I have installed SMTP Authorisation V2 but recievinf the following error SMTP Error 502: Command not implemented The SMTP server is being used successfully on another area of the site - any ideas as to why this mod isn't working?

	Ok. I have a wierd one. It sends just fine when you choose lost password but when you go to register it gives a 504 error. 	I am trying to setup a board on one of the free webspace servers (100Meg) and am struggling to find a way to get email authoridation working for new registrations. The webspace provider does not offer SMTP themselves on a free account. Using the SMTP Auth mod I was able to connect to my own ISP's SMTP server but it seems that this will only allow me to send email to addresses on the same domain as my ISP which is NTL. So then I tried HotPoP which WILL send smtp to other non-local domains but it too fails as it requires "POP before SMTP" authorisation. Does anyone know what I would need to do to modify the system so that it carries out the POP login before attempting the SMTP send? Alternatively, does anyone know of a free email service that I could sign up with that would allow me to get email notification working? Thanks in advance for any help
