	Hello, iam having problems plz help. Whenever i try 2 upload my avatar after done it takes me back to the profile page but from my ftp i can see the file has been uploaded but in the manner of C:/my documents and so on. Another thing could u help me get the GALLERY MOD installed as well as iam having problems with the Subs.pl file line no 16 of the mod where the upload line is. Thankyou

	@pooya: after upload you have to SAVE your profile to get the avatar file information refer to the uploaded file. after SAVE it should show the uploaded file as your avatar. so just click on SAVE after get back to your profile page ! greetings louisle

	louisie i did dat and i even messed around with my own profile the filr does get uploaded in C:/DOCUMENT format when i check from ftp but when it goes back 2 profile it dosent show anywhere if a file has been uploaded or not but i did try 2 save my profile didnt get anything ... Help HELP ! ---- Ps Now since i made my folder 777 where the file gets uploaded .... I dont see any file in the folder after i login into the ftp ... but still the cgi uploads and takes me back to the profile i lick save nothing happens...

	I have installed this and it seems to work great! Just for the record this MOD integrated into httpd 2.0.40-21.11 (Apache on RedHat) YaBB 1.3.1 Previously installed MODs: Add More MemberGroups sp131 ver15 Add Smiles2 sp13 Advanced MemberView Plus 31b Mail Domain 1 sp131 Member Map 27 sp131 Polls 3 Polls 3 Showcase Recent Users 1.4 TopStats 11 sp131 I did CHOWN "personal" to the group "apache". I did CHMOD "personal" to 774 My test site is http://forum.grassrootsx.net Test account is user=test pw=test

	Hi. I installed the mod no problems but it's not working. You click on the browse button and pick your file to upload and click the upload my own avatar button and it takes me to a 404 error with this url: http://www.mysite.org/yabb.pl?board=;action=uploadavatar2;username=admin I click refresh and I get this: An Error Has Occured! Please note that your image must be gif, jpg or png and that the display will be resized. The allowed maximun size is 512 kB Any suggestions? I do have the FA mod but it wasn't a problem.

	@pooya: what are your path settings for the mod ? And do you have a *nix or windows web server ? seems to me something is wrong with your paths... @BendzWheel: thank you. @jessicah: something is wrong with your path settings too. look at the url - it doesn't point to your domain ... like http://www.mysite.org/jessicah/yabb.pl... maybe you should check them out. hope you installed the mod via boardmod, if not check the step which changed the Profile.pl . you can ignore the refresh error message if you try to uploaded a gif,jpg or png with max 512 kB. if you don't get it run then show me your settings. greetings louisle

	Ok. running a win2k server with apache. paths are C:/htdocs/sadisticpleasures/forum2/upavatars http://www.sadisticpleasures.org/forum2/upavatars board URL is http://forum.sadisticpleasures.org (don't think wierd thoughts... it's for the Houston Rocky Horror Picture Show Cast I just host the site for them.) I use Apache's DirectoryIndex command in a htaccess file to get it to treat YaBB.pl as index.html. Yes, I did use board mod but I also tried with Textpad to see if I could figure out what was going wrong. Suggestions?

	try instead of C:/htdocs/sadisticpleasures/forum2/upavatars this /htdocs/sadisticpleasures/forum2/upavatars (without driveletter !) as path

	Nope. No difference..... It may be conflicting with some other mod I have installed. I just recently noticed some probs with the profile page. I'll see what I can come up with.

	so I kill everything and start from scratch. I edited the mod to make it compatible with FA. Now, it seems to upload fine. However, isn't it supposed to fill the I have my own pic field with the URL of the image you just uploaded? With mine it doesn't. It just bounced back to the profile page. Here's my profile.pl as it stands now. I'm not done reinstalling mods yet though.

	i don't understand really what you mean but i tthink it does it already : after you upload and bounce back to the profile page you should see the new URL on the profile form. after saving it will be set in your profile. or what do you mean ? greetings louisle

	yeah. It bounces me back to the profile page but the URL isn't there. It's the same as what it was before I uploaded the file. Suggestions? New profile.pl added.

	yes it should be the same URL, cause every avatar get the name of the member -> your avatar gets the name jessicah.jpg and if you upload a new one it will be overwrite. maybe your problem is that your browser load your avatar from the CACHE . so press and hold the CTRL key and push the refresh button of the browser, this should work for IE ...

	hmm. I need to clarify. The URL I currently have is http://www.somesite.com/mypic.jpg. I go to upload avatar and it pops back to the profile edit page and the URL has not changed to www.mysite.com/jessicah.jpg. It's still what it was before. I created a test account for you if you'd like to login and see for yourself. I'll IM you the username and pass. Thanks!!
