	ahh, I now see the light. Thanks... That must be one of the things that makes 1.3 faster.. that is not having all that code in the YaBB.pl Now on to the next problem. This was mentioned earlier in this post but I don't think a solution was reached. If you are not logged into my board you get an error message. 	That's an easy one - you have specified that guests cannot view any boards (look at the main board index page as a guest, you will see no boards there) - thus the news script rightly says you don't have permission to access it. solution: goto your admin centre, and make the board / category you want your news to be on visible to guests. Easy 8)

	The 'news' script works great, but ... I can't get MBCO2 to work with 1.3.1 I love using the 'news' feature but, of course, I don't want other members to be able to create posts. Any suggestions?

	I have just installed this mod and it seems to function correctly other than one small problem. I'm calling this via the SSI method from the page [url]http://www.weekendclimber.com/index_new.shtml[/url] and it seems to cutoff the rest of the page from being sent to the browser after the closing [code]-->[/code] in the ssi tag. Any suggestions?

	You propably want to go with modifying the existing recent posts page instead, by simply turning the html tag to a RSS-compatible XML. That'd be easier than trying to modify the news mod to show all the most recent topics.

	Is it possible to use different templates? Say, one template for one board, and another template for a different board on a different part of a site?
