G'day all,

   I've tried installing this mod on my board but I have a problem. I have to load this mod manually because Step 8 and 11 keep giving me errors.

   The problem is that nothing appears in the Admin panel. So I can't change which chat to use, stc.

   Anyone got any ideas where I'm going wrong?

I just installed YabbChat 1.98 on  test board but YABB IRC Chat 2 looks nicer.  I have yabb gold 1.3.1. Will YABB IRC Chat 2 run on it or give me errors?  Also can IRC clients like mirc be able to join as well?

Is there a way to get EIRC and this mod to connect to my self-run IRC server? I type in funchesmedia.dns2go.com (with and without the port number) as the server name in the .pl file and it can't connect.

having trouble getting the mod to work

tried both chatircYaBB.zip  1st downloaded latest version of board mod 2.5.4 seems this does not support YaBB2. Also it looks for YaBB.pl and chatircYaBB.zip does not contain this file to modify. Also there is no chathelp in this zip. I did the changes manually and changed the permissions properly followed the directions no go. with this zip.

I download the other listed zip ircchat2beta.zip this contains chathelp files and looks to edit the yabb.pl file but the strings to modify are not listed is this file looks like its for a different version not 2.

please advise maybe I am missing something???

Please point me to the files that are "known" to work with yabb2.

I checked out your site and I dont have an answer for your chat question but I do have a fix for your "news" not displaying correctly.
You need to put your news tags inside a table. Here is an example code
