I installed version 0.4 beta it is already showing the post from my chosen board, but the problem is it is not showing the recent posts and they are not dynamic, even how much I refresh.

I'm new to doing mods, I hope somebody can help.. I used both SSI includes and java includes, both shows the same thing.

i installed this mod too but i havnt finished the page it will display on...but the test page was *slow* at showing most recent post. so your not alone...i was thinking my browser was just showing a cached page... have you emtied you cache to see if it showed most recent then?

Installed this on my test board with Boardmod and it seems to work properly with YaBB 2.2 .

You may want to wait till the author checks it out before using on a live 2.2 board

Here is a list of the items I am looking to add to this mod down the road:
Ability to show messages from all public forums
Permission checks
Automatic display of attached images
Add the ability to specify number of messages in include statement
Ability to truncate news posts with a "Read more" link
Fix the order of sticky posts
Permalink compatibility
Ability to specify link targets

As I said earlier, though, I am extremely busy with a lot of projects outside of YaBB, so I'm not sure how long it will be before I can get these fixes added in.

For a future update, can you consider a way to pull from multiple boards with the ability to set how many from each to display or if to simply display just the most recent set number total.
