EDIT: I've also just tried the 'Number of recent posts to show in "XX Most Recent Posts"' But that doesn't change either.

'Width of your yabbc button area on Post page' does work though, as I had to change that earlier.

Can you please view the source of one of your pages where the sig restrictions aren't working, and search for "max-height" in that source?  I have tested multiple times in multiple ways and cannot reproduce your problem.

Are you using YaBB 2.1, or are you using an older version of Y2?  I know that there were problems in older versions of YaBB that caused the sig restrictions not to work if there was text and images together in a sig.  However, like I said, I've tested on my Y2.1 forums and it is working just fine for me.

Also - what browser are you using?

@lym - Okie dokie - I found the problem.  It seems that the sig restriction does not work at all in IE for some reason.  I guess no one that tested the mod, including myself, tested it with IE.   

I'll have to make some changes as soon as I can.

I loaded this mod... but now when someone registers, they dont show up on "The newest member is ." matter of fact thats all it shows now... a "period"

also wont post new members name in posts.

caused new members to have a default pic off blank.gif... eventhough i did not specify that?

i have tried uninstalling this mod but it wont let me. 2 errors, strings not found.

Step 10 is simply the step that adds the mod to your list of mods.  You should be able to open up the mod in the Mod Editor and delete that step.

Now - onto what might be causing your problem:

Do you have "Show" marked next to "Real Name"?  I think this might be a bug in the mod.  If you show that field, and you don't require it, then users that don't fill it in end up with a blank space as their display name.  It's an easy fix.  For the time being, you can either require that field, or take it off of the registration page.  I'll have to look at how to fix that (it should take a matter of seconds to fix that problem).

As far as the avatar goes, I'm guessing it's a similar problem.  I'll have a look at it.
