Calendar Problem
Oct 6th, 2004 at 12:23pm
Print Post
I have the calendar installed on my forum and it's been working fine the last few months but I clicked on it a few days ago and it came up with this message:

Quote:
Month '26' out of range 0..11 at ./Sources/NewcalMonth.pl line 250

Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks.

BTW if anyone wants to see the error for themselves then the link to my forum is: http://www.hamsterheaven.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl

Try deactivating the display of birthdays in the month view.  If the error goes away then you know to check the user birthdays for errors.  It bothers me that the 26 made it past the error capture routines that are supposed to catch this kind of thing.

Right I've done that and the calendar works now, but what type of errors do I look for in the users birthdays?

Look in the Members/memberbirth.txt file for a member birthday with month=26 (or 25).  The format is month/day/year.

Once you find it you can change it in this file but you will also need to change it in the member's profile as well.

Click the rebuild member list link in the Admin Center and then look for the file.

If you can send me a private message with your ftp login info I can take a look and see if I can figure out why the memberbirth.txt file isn't being written.

I am having a problem with my Calendar.  I am getting an error that says I do not have any events posted for today when I try to edit an event.  I do however have an event on that day.  It just won't let me edit or delete that particular event.  All other events seem to be fine.  Helllllpppp!  ???

Nevermind.  I fixed the problem manually.  I went into the newcaldb.txt file and deleted the calendar post that I could not delete from the forum.  Just have to repost.  Thanks anyway everyone.  Have a great weekend.  Roll Eyes

Hi,

I've managed to sort out the problem. I went through the users and found the one causing the problem. The calendar and birthdays are all showing up fine now. I've just checked my folders for Yabb and the memberbirth.txt still isn't there.
