An Error Has Occured!

Error renaming 'C:\temp\CGItemp51478' to 'attach/hclip61.jpg.gif'!

i get this error when i try to attach anything...
i set all even tryied different settings new install ect...
what could be rong could it be my xp pro doing it ??
the other settings i tried post no errors but the image dont get uploaded just says image deleted...

And you set your servewr type in the attachment options to windows?

The problem I see is that if you look at the "attach" string it has a  "/" on it when it ought to have a "\" on it. which is the way Unix does it. in fact also check your directory path in general I'm not sure if there shouldn't be a more sbsolute path in front of where attach begins anyway.

Nope the error is correct as the first part refers to a true DOS path (found by active perl) and the second part refers to a Perl path.

The problem is write access to the use of a relative path in the attachement dir which will not work in Windows.
You need to define a full dos path including drive.

no i have the / right on mine it was my xp that was the problem i had to reinstall my system..
some access problem xp wouldn't let me fix it so i had to reinstall....

It's in the betaboard somewhere on page 3, 4 or 5.
But it is still giving a lot of problems.

I'm working on a brandnew version now tested on the SP2 dev board which also has auto rename and no setting stuff for servers anymore.
Also reattach and delete attachment are standard in that version.
