All my files are 755 or 777!

Your smilies.txt is completely different to mine!
Perhaps you mean another file than I, but mine just has the codes for the smilies in it!

Solved this problem, stays not on top but closes after selecting a smilie.

In Smilies.pl search for:
<body bgColor="$popback">

change in:
<body bgColor="$popback" onClick="top.window.close()">

Ok, if you want it that way:

In Smilies.pl search for:
<body bgColor="$popback">

change in:
<body bgColor="$popback" onblur="self.focus();">

Now it always stay on top until you close it.

Tried 755 and 777 and they made no difference Undecided

The smilies.txt I posted earlier was from the previous version Wink

Hi,

I have YaBB 1.3.2. Now I tr to install Add Smilies 3.0 mod. Board Mod give me error in step 7 and 11. And error message is: failed - ERR(1): Search string could not be found.
Can someon help me?

Hi,

Trying my first attempt at installing a mod.

Followed all of the steps, but when I got to these steps I couldn't find where I should det these in Forum Preferences and Settings. I logged in as Admin, went to Admin -> Preferences and Settings and couldn't find anything about these. Am I missing something?
8...Go to the Forum Preferences and Settings:
     (a)...set the values for the path and url to the smilies directory (leave the path blank to disable auto-adding smilies).
     (b)...tick the box next to "Display Smiley Block?" if you want to display the smiley block on the post message page.
9...Click on "Manage Smilies", and customise the smilies used by your forum! Smiley

Note that my board is running fine after the update, but obviously no smilies are working (no even the default ones).

I followed the boardmod instructions and readme.txt to a T. download yabb folder locally. Loaded the yabb.cgi in boardmod. Updated based on my version (yabb gold sp1.2), updated sucessfully.
Uploaded Sources, Variables and yabb.cgi and settings.pl.

Did I do something wrong or miss a step?

Hi. we have YaBB 1 Gold - SP 1.3.2, I guess this is a new version and hasn't been out long? We want to add new smileys but the mod says it only works with versions 1 Gold - Service Pack 1/1.1/1.2/1.3

I didn't try it but the other person working on our forums did, and it doesnt work?

hi... i've made a botch up while installing this mod and now my board doesnt seem to understand where my normal images directory is... no matter where i change the settings to it insists upon using the server root as the images directory....

please help... i dont really know what i'm doing

Hello

I have changed the size of the more smilies pop-up box, and edited the BG  and table colors as well. I haven't quite figured out where to change the type of font displayed in the More Smilies Pop Up window though. It looks like it's defaulted at Times New Roman.  Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks Smiley
