Is there a way to make users members of multiple membergroups with this mod?

I'd like to set up sections that only certain members have access to (which I have now with my moderator section) but I'd like to set up more for the general user. The problem is some people may be members of multiple groups.

Is there a way to do that?

User More Membergroups for AMM and YaMS

I think this was from the 1.1 or 1.2  or something and
I use 1.3.1 and had to edit a little ,,,
It was last fall that i installed it...
works ok...

.... after save this settings, all fields display "Other" !?

Open your MemberGroups.pl and search for this Code:

Select All

.... and replace it with this code ...

I installed everything and did everything as per instructions but nothing happened to the admin center..

what am I supposed to do with the amm_sp131_15.mod?

Anyway, change your order of install.  That will fix it.

I do not know what you say, ok?  Hehe.  I don't know how to re-arrange the order of install.  I will do a search of the forum to try to find an answer.  Thanks for the reply.

If you have a moment can you elaborate a bit more for me?  Do I go into the mod file and cut and paste code? Do I use the boardmod program at all?

But that won't be so good.
He has 20 mods installed.
Changing the order would mean, that he has to deinstall ALL the mods nach reinstall then!
And probably this wouldn't fix it, because the other woerks would give out errors.

@Mi1house: You use Boardmod?
Mark the mod and klick on the button "Mod Editor". The Mod Editor opens and you can see all the steps the mod tries to make.
Look at the ones which didn't work.

Then open the file, which this step tries to edit, and look manually for the problem.
Then you can edit the mod in the Mod Editor, so that it works.

Keep a unchanged version saved, for the case that it doesn't work!

But you have to be careful.
There are three different types of editing.
Add before
Add after
Replace

You can see in the Mod Editor, which thing is being used at which step.
If your errors appear at "Add before" or "Add after" steps, you can easily search for the strings in the YaBB file and change it in the mod.
But when the error step is "Replace", it deletes something and replaces it with the new string from the mod. So you could delet things which are needed by other mods, which you have installed before.

But I think, you'll manage it.
