Any one know in the beta mods for Yabb 2/2.1 is stable to install . Because i have try install the mod  "Friendster in profile" and "Convert Polls to Auctions YaBB2.1" . After upload to my server i get 500 inter server error , but i use board mod install the mod is no error .

Is my server problem or the mod have not yet complete?
Any one know please tell me .

Did you get it from the database or the board?

I get the mod from the board not in database .

The auctions mod is very specials , i never saw that in others forum before .But the two mod is very old and no update .

server 500 error...check chmods (user permissions) on the modified files. as it is usually the cause...
Beta mods are beta for testing..they sometimes may have bugs.. but not always...thats what the beta phase if for..working out the bugs  after awhile if no bugs reported..the mod author may submit to final ..but ive notice..some never submit final mods..

Ya those two mods weren't as heavily used or supported.  Maybe if you post in those topics, the author may have notifications turned on, or you can email them from their profile?

I not sure is that permission problem or not , i have check in my server error log i find three error when i upload to my server >

Compilation failed in require at -
public_html/forum/Sources/Subs.pl line 1600.

syntax error at -
public_html/forum/Languages/English/Main.lng line 130, near "'813'"

String found where operator expected at -
public_html/forum/Languages/English/Main.lng line 130, near "'813'"

Now have YaBB2.2 , so i think no people doing the mod for YaBB2.1 already . So may be wait for new mod for Yabb2.2 then i upgrade to the new version .

Today i have solve the 500 internal server error and my site have show up again , but now i have two error come out . When i start a new topic i have got this two error

im not a programer but..
i think compilation error may not be error in YaBB.pl...just says something didnt work..and tells where it was called from..
your syntax error i think this is the highlighted part below...

<td width="20%" align="right" class="windowbg2">&nbsp;</td>
   <td width="20%" align="left" class="windowbg2">&nbsp;</td>
 </tr></table></td></tr>~;
     </tr>~;

           $yymain .= qq~


delete the second </tr>~; see if that helps

i would add a right curly } as it says its missing one. again..im not a programer... just saying what i would do .. hope it helps

Finally i have solve the frienster mod but auction mod not solve it . Grin

So wait for who can update the auction mod .
