Hi

ok, i replace old code back in ubbc.js

Opera 9.01 was working but no 9.10  Grin

Status Quick-Quote V1.7 (March 11 2007) 
- replace old code from 1.5 in ubbc.js

Update Note: deinstall 1.6 and install 1.7 and upload ubbc.js and clear cache.

1.6 worked fine with previous versions of Opera, looks like they broke something in 9.10. The problem now is 1.7 doesn't work with Safari, Omniweb and some older versions of other browsers.

Guess you can't win with web browsers!

hi great mod
but it pops up a copy to clip board thing i have the copy to clipboard patch installed but it dont seem to work  on the quick quote...i havnt noticed this b4 i installed it..is there anything i can do ?
im using ie 7

problem solved..

Hi all.

For some reason, the "Quick-Quote" button doesn't copy the text into the quick reply box.  It's jumping down to the bottom like it should.  The little indicator left of the user name is working fine.  Can someone help me try to figure out what went wrong?

Hrm, seems to be isolated to just a few of the templates.  I'll look closer at those.

I just installed quick_reply_box_05e_yabb2 and then tried installing Quick Quote but I'm getting errors on Steps 7 and 8:

Step 8
Code
Select All
<input type="hidden" name="threadid" value="$viewnum" />
<input type="hidden" name="icon" value="xx" />

This was easy to fix as all I had to do was manually add " /" at the end of the tags in my Display.pl file.

Step 7 however cannot find this piece of code:

if (theForm.message.value == "") { alert("$post_txt{'78'}"); theForm.message.focus(); return false }

return true

}


This is the same issue discussed earlier, but I am using both of the latest versions of Quick Reply and Quick Quote.

So in other words, I need to downgrade Quick Reply in order to install this mod?

EDIT: Nevermind, I notice what happened now.  I mistook quick_reply_box_05e_yabb2.mod as being a newer version than Jet Li's quick_reply_box_v1_1_yabb21.mod based on the description on the first post of the thread reading, "Y took the Quick Reply Box 1.3 by BHRA Webmaster, Krikkert, Colicab for Yabb1 Gold, and modified it so it works on YaBB2."  I just saw the Quick Reply Box 1.3 and didn't notice it was referring to YaBB1 Gold.  My bad.

Just for future reference, it would be much easier if the first post of the thread kept the newest version of the mod. Wink
