Hi Jetli, I got an error at Step 8, but I think it is not a bug in Quck Replay Box, it is only a little thing

Mod searches for:


<input type="hidden" name="threadid" value="$viewnum" />

<input type="hidden" name="icon" value="xx" />

But I have this ( the same only without this  / two times )

<input type="hidden" name="threadid" value="$viewnum">
<input type="hidden" name="icon" value="xx">

What shall i do, edit the search in Boardmod or add this / in my Display.pl?

This is an excellent mod. It works excellent and is very useful, I use it mostly everyday. Is there any plans to expand it into the PM system. I'd love to see the quick quote button when replying to PMs.

Great mod! Thanks.

There is a problem with Apple Safari on Mac OS X. I've only tested it with version 2.0.4 of Safari. The @name bit works fine, but the popup about marking text comes up every time, even with text selected! It works fine in Firefox, so it's not a Mac thing. Seems to be a Safari problem...

Has anyone else noticed that the mod comes with qquname.gif only, but seems to look for quick_quote.gif?

Am I missing something stupid somewhere?

EDIT - I think I sort of figured this out.  It seems that this mod came with the quick_quote button for Menu2.def, but didn't come with the quick_quote icon for Menu0.def, unless I'm supposed to copy qquname and rename it to quick_quote.gif.

EDIT - I also noticed that this mod (and I've seen a few other mods like this, too) isn't really compatible with AK108's BoardTemplates mod.  If I have a particular template set up to use Menu2.def, but my default variable file is set to Menu0.def, this mod uses Menu0.def for all of my templates, rather than using Menu2.def.
  
Currently using Y2.3 With no mods (though that will hopefully change, soon).

Little Update in First post. I change quick_quote.gif to quote.gif in Variables/Menu0.def

sorry about that and thnx for reporting  Wink i use Menu2.def for my forum and forget user with use Menu0.def  Embarrassed
