I'm in desperate need of an update for this mod as my board cannot function until this mod is fixed. What it is doing is showing that there is a post on the board but when i click into it there is no post even thought there should be one.

Or is it workable now but with a few bugs?

the mod is functionallly working, though there are a few bugs that exist, such as updating statistics..and a few others.

tried installing this mod but got an error at step 23 caused by this extra line in my sources/display.l filr
LoadLanguage("Display");
require "$vardir/Smart_Image_Resize.txt";

LoadLanguage("FA");
whats the easiest way around this ?

Just add the line to your mod file if it replaces add the line to the replace file also

HELP

As you can see I really need help with this Mod if the mod author or some one is able to provide a temporary patch so that my board is able to function I would appreciate it very much. Some of the bug are listed in my post above.

How about uninstalling the mod for now, rather than ranting at the author to finish up?  When I program, I find it difficult with someone breathing over my neck and demanding some result...This makes a wide doorway for mistakes.

I know we should give the author a break and not force him to work on this mod. But does anyone have any ideas on how to make posts in the sub forums count as posts on its main forum?

not a complaint, merely an observation. anyone else notice a performance hit when sub-boards are enabled? not just installed mind you but actually being used.

i just installed sub-boards tonight and setup a test board and immediately noticed a 1 second+ lag when refreshing the site. i'm on a dedicated server so it's not other sites causing the problem and when i removed the test board the issue went away. anyone else experiencing this?

Nopes, we have been using sub-boards now for a while, and everything works as fast as normally. Only bug I have noticed is the statistics thing... Other than that, this mod is working perfectly..

Come on, if we work together I'm sure we can fix the little "stats" problem. My board is in too much of a state to unistall this mod, so I need this fix as my board looks very bare!
Gonna look at the code today and see what can be done.

The posts are being shown in forum.totals, so I believe that the problem lies within the system.pl file in the sources folder.
