What I'm after is a mod that will allow the Administrator to preview messages before they are made accessible to the general public. 

Recently such a mod was made available for YaBB SE, but I need one for YaBB.  My Web host, Earthlink, supports Perl (the language of YaBB) and even PHP for that matter, BUT does NOT support MySQL, so I must use YaBB rather than YaBB SE.

Any hope for such a mod becoming a reality for YaBB?  (I'm a complete novice when it comes to Perl.)
