While working on the TopPosters mod i noticed that the top-posters part of the total posts could be larger than 100%. One problem is that members posts are not changed when you delete threads, boards or categories - a bug in my opinion. This small mod will fix that.

It also adds a "Recount this members posts" option for admin in members Profile "Additional Information" area.

Carsten, I appologize in advance ... but it is your own fault for doing seemingly near-miraculous stuff overnight.

I have a question about what this mod can and can't do, and a request to expand it, if needed.

MBCO2 has an add-on that lets you set certain boards to not count toward personal posting totals (for advancement of post-based ranks).

How is it possible to do a recount, so board-based totals remain correct (for example, for your statistics modules), but posts do not advance as far as showing for a particular user, and his/her ranking?

Something to think about, anyway.

@batchman - i'm not sure i totally understand...
Do you want two different post-counts per member - or two different total post-counts?

I suppose two different post counts per member ... one of actual posts, which makes all details balance out. Another which controls advancement and displays on posts.

Sorry ... I know you are eventually going to hate me, but I had to mention it. (They are both great mods, but they kind of work against each other in this instance.)

All right, I am losing my mind. I am almost absolutely positive I already have this on my board, yet it doesn't show up. Maybe I'll have to manage to edit it back in again.

Sorry, my bad ... I just don't know how it happened!
