Remove your AOL Adapter ond re connect.

No need for uninstalling anything. When the error message comes up just ignore it and click it off. Go to VIEW > EXPLORER BAR (in your IE toolbar) and click on Search and it will come up.

Read the 1st post in this thread and look at the 3rd paragraph under the code box.

You know I was just afraid to say 'ok' to a modem setting I was pretty sure was wrong.

I bit the bullet and it works fine. Unusual install, but, hey, the hack works!  8)

Thanks for giving me the courage... Wink

This is great, But could we get it to auto send you back to index on the main page after you open the sidebar?

When you goto the page to add the sidebar and click on the link, it opens the sidebar and the page you clicked on stays on the add side bar page.

Would be good to have the page refresh bacg to your main page of the board.

How about adding users online to the template?

That might be cool.

You'd have to add the code from BoardIndex.pl to the Sidebar sub:
Code
Select All
	my $checkadded = 0;
	$guests = 0;
	$users = '';
	$numusers = 0;
	fopen(FILE, "$vardir/log.txt");
	@entries = <FILE>;
	fclose(FILE);
	foreach $curentry (@entries) {
		chomp $curentry;
		($name, $value) = split(/\|/, $curentry);
		if($name) {
			if(!$yyUDLoaded{$musername}) { &LoadUser($name); }
			if(exists $userprofile{$name}) {
				$numusers++;
				$users .= qq~ <a name}->[1]</a><font size="1">,</font> \n~;
			}
			else { $guests++; }
		}
	}
	$users =~ s~<font size="1">,</font> \n\Z~~;

Then add something like

Code
Select All
$yyusersonline = "$Users online: $guests guests, $numusers members: <br>$users";

Then you can use the <yabb usersonline> tag in your tempalte.
