Well this is a 'Saturday night special.'
It works.
I did try to put it all in the function, but Opera wasn't happy with that. It keep trying to store the function instead of the URL.

So this was my second guess.

they also describe how to detect the  OS .. maybe you can add a function with if OS=mac and Browser=IE ... so that it is just ONE button ?

and it does show the correct link, whihc works fine. Just to clear up the language you use, it's the 'Page Holder' Tab that you should direct people to drag it to - dragging it to the 'search' tab opens up the page in the main window.

hello michael prager ,

i don't want get on your nerves , but if you could do it so , that there is just one Button ( sidebar.gif ) for all browsers ... and if the combination MacOS and IE is present, the button automatically create the sidebar, too. i think that would be the best ...  Wink
because there is no place for textes on many boards. if you want i make an icon for you ...

Thanks for testing, Loony. I've fixed the file once more and also added a new variable which lets you define the link text, so louisle could for example replace the text by an image more easily. Automatically adding the sidebar on mac+IE is not possible however. People will have to drag manually!
