I have a suggestion for the modder..

Step 6 of the mod goes like this:

Code
Select All
<search for>
'usersrecentposts',"Profile.pl&usersrecentposts");
</search for>

<replace>
'usersrecentposts',"Profile.pl&usersrecentposts",
'addmicon',"MIcon.pl&AddMIcon");
</replace>


This changes the last line of Sublist.pl, and since almost all mods search for this line to add more subroutines, every mod installed after this mod will show error while installing..

Just a suggestion to change the replace tag with add before tag..
  
I knew there would be days like these, but this many??

So its this mod that did that?

I wondered where it was.

Of course, every time it would run into problems, I'd just mod the mod file to look for a ', rather than a ';, but yes, that is one place where a small edit to the original mod would be better.
  
Improving my forum, one mod at a time!


Now up and running again, with an accurate link.

I do have the same problem as some other people here... Everything works fine, until I click on preview message... The added message icon appears then as the NIX-icon... with the path: http://xxx.xxx.xxx/.gif :S :S

What is wrong? :S Who can help?

GREAT MOD. been looking for it for 1.3.1 for quite some time now.  THANK YOU.

Any way to get the default set of icons out of the system?  I don't like message icons that look like smilies...I have a smiley block for that.

The custom smilie mod allows you to pick and choose everything, showing you what you already have and what you're about to.  Any way to make it possible for this mod?

Yes, definitely not ready yet.  red x's appear upon posting messages!

if that and the ability to delete existing msg icons were addressed, 'twould be beautiful indeed.

I always thought this was a cool, and fairly simple mod (small, compact.)

I used to have it on my 1.3 board.

Now that I have upgraded to 2.1, I thought this might have already been included in 2.1, but it wasn't.

I've searched through 2.1 mods a lot, and cannot find this one.

Has it been updated by anybody to work on 2.1?

If not, would anybody LIKE to update it?

I have large numbers of messages that display missing image icons on the boards pages, and big missing image annoucements in the individual threads, and would love to have this mod back.
