	I think the users of this forum should be able to choose whether they want to be notified once of a reply, or get all the notifications for all replies. Wouldn't that be a cool idea for a MOD? Profile selectable feature!

	I don't see any need for getting notifications for all replies, it just causes more traffic.

	@Michael I must tell you. I think the notification system of this board might encounter some problems. I missed so many topics because i didn't recieve any notifications. Although that topic is a new one that i haven't recieved any notification before.

	I've rechecked the code and I could not find any problem. I've changed the code a bit now, maybe that solves the ussues... don't know. Maybe your mail account is full and the messages don't get through?

Until now i pretty sure that it's from the notification system of this board. I'll closely observe for the next 2-3 week and will let you know again Thanks for your concern

	I've noticed a problem or two with notification. it appears as if the notifications are not being sent until I come on this site, because when I come online, I get about 3-4 notifications. but not quite, as it is kind of erratic - I sometimes don't come online, and get topic replies anyway. I know this is of no help whatsoever, but I'm just making the point that it is not just jake having problems.

	well I can only tell you how the code looks like: whenever someone posts in a topic with notifications, a mail will be send to each address of the notification list, right after the post information has been written to disk. So from the programming point of view, everything should be delivered immediatly. Possible though that the server holds the mails for a couple of hourse before sending them - very unrealistic though....

	Yeah, I get what you are saying, it's probably just coincidence with me that people reply withing a minute or two of me coming online it's good enough for me anyways, I get notified in every thread I have specified - not sure about anyone else. cheers anyway 8)

	I noticed for a while the one reply per thread seemed to disappear, but it came back a few days later. Gotta love the quick reply box you put in, problem is I don't check 'notify' anymore! so I have to manually check, ro navigate around,a nd fiddle pressing the 'notify' button - might contact the mod author to put that feature in Quick reply box mod.. yeah. 8)
