Calendar 2.3a is up all it is is a renamed 2.2c so download it and use it.

I found a bug in this script...

On the Add/Edit/Del/View Holidays page, the date at the top of the screen does not display correctly... The date appears as 20021128 instead of Jan 31st, 2003. This is a very minor bug but it does need to be fixed Smiley.

ok here is the deal with the holidays as it says in the readme. if the date is say 0101 then the holiday will display every year. but if the day is 20020101 then the holiday will only display for the year 2002 this is b/c not all holidays fall on the same year. and untill some one tells me a formula to calculate this changing day thing it will stay the same so there is no bug.

u can just delete all the 2002 holidays.

if u downloaded the 2.3 attachment on or after feb 1st the new holidays are in it

calender dont show correctly today is 4rd in February

but calender show that day (4 )  is 4th in february

or it show 1 day behind

but i hve just uninstalled ur mod. Had soooo many weird probs with the calendar. It said i saved the changes, but no. I wanted the icons to appear in top menues, i tjecked for YES, but no. I looked in admin settings EVERYTHING LOOKED OK, might be my cashe i thought, but NO. And suddenly it had untjecked some things by itself ?.

sry man, but this calendar aint going in my board b4 you update it properly.

like the calendar folder and its Calendar not calendar

My calendar was messed up too. The POST button disapered from everything and on the main forum page the link to the calendar was missing.
I'll give it one more go.

Got mine up and running.  I usually do all mods by hand, but did this one using board mod, and it installed perfectly, on a somewhat heavily modded board.

Did have a question though, what is the option user control?  The readme file says this:

1) User control added.
note1. the user has about 70-80% control over the admin.
note2 Admin can turn on or off the user control.


But that didn't really clear anything up for me.  In fact the first note, makes me think a normal usere has more control then an admin?

Tried it one last time and it did actually work.
Did the same as last time, but it works now.

the user control if active it will allow each user to control certain properties of the calendar.

after the user control is active when the calendar is viewed it has a extra icon for settings.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, now I see what you mean.

Another question, and I believe you are looking into this.

I have the calendar disabled for guests, which means they can't add anything.  I would also like it to keep them from viewing anything placed on the calendar....not sure if this is possible, the private option seems to just keep it private to everyone except the person who posted it.

I'd like to take it a step further, and not allow guests to view things placed on the calendar, is it possible?
