	Uh well... When i click on the new icon, i go to the message. The first post of the message, but not the last one i read... What can be the possible errors?

	You must have visited a thread once previously after you installed the mod before the NEW link works. Also I have YAMS installed on my board and had no problems installing.

	The YAMS issue is another one altogether for me... I don't know what happened... I installed YAMS, and it totally messed up my board... It got rid of the polls, smilies, chat... the works. I'm still trying to get my board back to normal... but have been busy building a fence for my new house...

	Just wanted to let you know that the mod doesn't install right out of the box in a fresh SP 1.1. Doesn't find the code to replace... Well, IMHO we should really have a different upload area for SP 1.1. newbe

	I just tested installation of this mod and YaMS: Clean SP 1.1 + YaMS + This mod = no conflicts Clean SP 1.1 + This mod + YaMS = no conflicts Modded SP 1.1 incl. Poll, AMM, Calender, Yams a.o. + This mod = no conflicts A quick visual scan of the code show absolutly no conflicts between this mod and YaMS. Small typo in the mod code made BM 2.5 stop: enlish.lng should be english.lng

	Nah, the mod code looks o.k. to me, but the BoardModifier keeps on showing error messages. ??? Very strange, what is going on here? :mad2:

	The code this mod looks for is the same code that comes with YaBB Gold, YaBB SP1 and YaBB SP1.1, so if boardmod can't find it, it must be a mod conflict. Look in Display.pl, for this Code # Mark current thread as read. Post the following two lines here.

I triple checked the code in Display.pl and the mod. The mod looks absolutely correct to me. I really don't see a difference, but BoardMod doesn't do the change. I'm pretty sure that the problem is somewhere here on my system, but I don't see where right now newbe

	The code looks fine - just make sure there is only a single tab at the start of each line, and no spaces at the end. If it still doesn't work, try replacing the two lines between the <search for> ... </search for> tags in the mod files with the two lines in the Display.pl file.

	OK, I found the problem: This was due to the carriage return/line feed. In the mod file the hex code is (correctly): 0D 0A, than 09 for a single Tab. In the file I downloaded from my server (brand new SP 1.1, no mods) the hex is: 0D 0D 0A, than 09 for a single tab. Right now I don't know were I caught those strange CR/LF's in my system. But since I'm using my notebook right now (being a few thousand miles away from home), I may have a misconfiguration in the FTP here. Anyway, I suspect, that this is a bad team play between Windows on the notebook, Unix on the server and the FTP program I used. Sorry! newbe

	Slick job Krikkert... Was finally able to get my board back togerther... Quick observation... I had clicked "mark all threads as read." However, when a new post was made on a thread that I hadn't really visited, i was taken to the front page, rather than to the newest post on the thread. Just curious if it is able to go to the newest post in that situation... Nice work everybody.... 8)

	Nope until you actually visit a thread it doesn't have any knowledge of what you have read. Making mark all as read mark all threads as being last read at the last post would be very slow and result in huge .log files if you have a fairly big messageboard.

	No problem... I just wanted to let you know what I came across... It looks like you were already aware of it... GREAT MOD GUYS! This thing is really slick. by the way, as you probably know, the last version posted had a mis-spelling on english.lng file... I corrected the error in the mod file, so I'm attaching it...
