	i'm alittle new to yabb perl code and how to set it up, i wish to add a [More smilies] link with almost infinate simlies :rolleyes3: i d/l the "addsmilies2final1" but not sure of where i drop EVERY FILE, or the folder :book: i've also added the "karma" with the two files, i added them to the source, but i don't see any karma on my forum is it, i have to put the mod somewhere else ???

	I got Y1Gold_SP1.1_pl is that 1 gold or sp1.1 ??? WEIrD

	i did, and i'm far to scared to mess up my yabb as i get no errors now! is it i have to add a boardmod dir, and then just literitly throw all the mods i d/l into it, then goto admin and insert new code! i know it's differnet for each but is that the general idea of adding mods!! yes yes say yes!!!!!

	Hi everyone, I've just downloaded the addsmilies2final zip but there's no instructions on installation. The instructions on the first page of this board, do they apply to this mod or another version? If it's for the above mod, is all that bit of code for adding just one smiley??? so I guess I have to repeat the process for adding others?? lol sorry ..so many questions Tigers P.s Pretty impressed with the gold background in here..looks nice, very nice.

	General instructions on installing mods can be found in the BoardMod FAQ (click the FAQ button above) Additional instructions specific to each mod can be found in the <mod info> section at the top of the mod file, or in a seperate readme.txt file if one is supplied.

	it just says 'add new smilies here' but they're just boxes. then below are various options that i've played around with but i see no changes in anything i'm not sure if i want a pop up window (prob since I'd like to add quite a few smilies) or a drop down. I was gonna try stuff out, but i don't really see where to start. i'm a newbie, but quick to pick things up usually. do i just enter in the smilie url in the form boxes below 'add new smilies here'? when would you use linebreak? ???

	okay.. lemme revise that. i see to add the smilies you do code whatever(), then name, then description. they're showing up in the panel when i add each on, however i see nothing when doing a test post other than the regular smilies

	Have you used the smiley admin options to tell YaBB where to display the added smilies?

	OK, here's a question I can't seem to find an answer for.......I am running SP1.3, with the add smilies mod. Everything, looks, acts, right except for one thing: The documentation I read said that smilies will be auto added if I upload them to the designated smilie directory. However, this doesn;t seem to be working. If I MANUALLY add the smiley it works fine........however, this is quite a pain when trying to add 50 or so smilies. Any help you may lend would be appreciated! Thanks! Joe Wolfe

	Well, I just put all my smilies in the smilies folder and dont worry about manually adding smilies... Alot better that way too... I think Panthre Panther
