This Mod will allow you to set a cookie to limit the amount of topics which guests are allowed to view before they are encouraged to register, either by blocking them from viewing any more topics or by displaying a message at the top of the message view.

Search engine bots shouldn't be affected by cookies, but to be safe any search bots in your bot list won't be affected by this Mod.

Installation:

1) Modify YaBB files using BoardMod or manually.
2) Upload modified files to your server in ASCII mode.
3) Go into Admin Center => Forum Settings => Members tab to configure the settings.

Hmmm. I know it is early here but I sense a bit of sarcasim there Grin

If not sarcasim, then what I meant was... I was on my iPhone earlier and would work on it when I was using my PC at home.

Either way, just installed this mod and love it. Nice little addition to my forum. Just maybe it will lead to more members wanting to register.

Derek, this has to be one of the best mods. It should be in the basic download for future YaBB versions.

Had a few knockers when I first installedit however have been receiving far more genuine registrations since installing it.

I've added the German language patches to the package now (thanks again, pyragony!), and also fixed a spelling error in the English 'Admin.lng' edit.
