	Hello, I would like to avoid spam accounts in my forum. It would be nice to include a certain question before registration. If the answer is wrong, the user can't registrate. Any idea how to do that? Thanks a lot! Austrian11

	that's what the image captcha is used for. Did you enable that?

	yes, but it does not work. spambots can read the captcha. that's why i would like to add a certain question.

	did you try to alter the captcha setting like increasing the randomization level and changing the key? That did the trick here on boardmod.

	I see on YaBBForum, you still use YaBB 2.1. I as YaBB Developer recommend you to upgrade your YaBB Version to YaBB 2.5. There is more secure and you will not get spam accounts, like Antispam Feature, Mail Domain Filter etc...

	It is the recommended step as this is will improve overall protection. Of cause, it is possible to build your own validation check, but since there is no ready-to-install mod for this, someone would have to write it for you - or you'd have to write the required code yourself (in case you are able to code).
