This mod will display the first 200 characters of a topic when you hover a topic link on the Message Index page. Member option to enable/disable topic preview.

If you knock your head against a brick wall and hear a hollow sound, it's not necessarily coming from the wall.

Nice mod, but the first hover does not go away for me. The other hovering text lays behind it:

I've noticed that too. As far as I can see, it's only when you hit the browser back button.

I just noticed that as well. Derek, you are right. It only does that when you hit the browser back button. The last topic you hovered over remains on the screen. If you hover over it again, the hovering text disappears, but when you move the mouse pointer off the topic the hovering text comes back.

Good catch - fixed. New zip attached to first post.

Thanks... But...

Just tested on FireFox and Safari (Mac), and I'm afraid I can still produce the TopicHover appearing when hitting the back button. Slightly different this time... I've noticed now that when you click the link, the TopicHover disappears (I assume that was the fix) but, if you move your cursor away from the link before the page has loaded, then the TopicHover appears again and is still there when you hit the back button.

Maybe someone else can confirm this?

Confirmed in FireFox. The same goes for doing the above and then clicking a completely different link and using the browser back button, the previous TopicHover remains.
