YABB DEAD!!! Not Responding (Read 3069 times)

	Yabb 2.3.1 various mods installed. Has been fine for a month of so, died overnight. Was working fine 11pm - this morning no response from the url - it is for all purposes dead.... http://www.sbitsystems.co.uk/LMBOC2-3/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl The server is good - I have the old 2.2 version still on and it is working fine... I was experimenting ingetting a formto interact and post but no Yabb files have been edited... Any ideas of how to kick start..... Kind Regards Chris

	Tried replacing Admin/* Sources/* and variables* from backup files - still no luck... Do not really want to use a an back u from a month ago as there has been a clatter new users and posts let alone the work. Any ideas or even a clue...... Kind Regards Chris

	You could turn on the debug mode in the admin center or take a look at the error logs to figure out what the problem is.

	Thanks for the response.. The error files give no indication... I did a backup upload and all was well for a few hours now it has gone back to the dead state. YaBB.pl does not load - just keeps trying t no avail - dead! Cannot get into the forum in any way... Ah well just keep trying... Kind Regards Chris

	Replaced all files in dir's admin / boards / languages / members / messages / sources / templates / variables and of course root YaBB2 - from a previous backup - same result tries to load and sits vacant -dead... No entries in error log or any other text log that I can find... Checked HTaccess... Any ideas anyone or is it a complete write off... Feb 10^th, 2009 at 5:12pm No response - had to reinstall everything and reset.... Hmmm must be a moral here if messing with beta mods and a live board Thanks anyway...

	the best place to get a reliable error message is the apache error log. It's usually more informative that the 500 script error messages you get from the browser.
