Christmas is a time for meeting with old freinds!!

Here's my Christmas present for those of you who have been patiently waiting for an updated YaMMS:


Version 0.1 beta

This mod will add a Member Map to your forum to let members "pin" their location on a map.


Members can chose to show location in posts as text or flag or both in 'Edit Profile - Options'.


It will also add an option to let members view/hide columns in the member list for:

online/offline, Location, Gender, Personal Message, e-mail address, Homepage, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ, YIM, AIM, Skype


Admin can view and sort the member list by members last 3 IP addresses.


Admin option to make Location required at registration.


beta 0.2 - made the script use the location template tags for the "yamms" location.


beta 0.3 - fixed language problem in tab menu.


beta 0.4 - Fixed encryption of username in location links in posts. Fixed language problems in edit tabs.


beta 0.5 - Fixed extended profile columns in member list.


beta 0.6 - To get around the problem with downloading and modifying the "taborder.txt" file i have now bundled a new mod: "AutoTabs 4 YaBB 2.3" with the zip package. This small mod MUST be installed before installing this YaMMS beta 0.6 - instead of changing taborder.txt you only have to upload a small text file located in the "Variables" folder in the zip package - and voila - the script will auto-add the membermap tab.

beta 0.7 - Made more space for picture in profile.

@ Jet Li - nah.. I've made the mod add the MemberMap tab directly to the taborder.txt file. The tabs array in AdvancedTabs.pl is only there to create the taborder.txt file the very first time you run a new forum - or if the taborder.txt file should get lost for some reason.

Welcome back, and thank you! I'll be adding this in the next few hours or days to my forum, along with Jet Li's recent mods!

This has been one of the ones I have most been missing!

As an aside, I hope I haven't stepped on your toes in updating the quiz mod. I tried to reach you several times for permission, but finally just released an update to 2.3. (Just to fit it into 2.3, no changes in anything else.)

I see a Firefox 3.0.5, Opera 9.62 and Google Chrome Issue on Setting Layout. On IE7 is ok

This is cool! In the past, this always had to be the first mod added, or half the steps failed.

Today I installed it on my test board with about 25 other mods on it, and I only had to do a simple adjustment of one step to get it to install.

The usual caveat about uploading the image files to the proper place applies. I forgot at first, and it broke the admin center. Remembered the usual problem, uploaded the graphics, and all worked fine.

I have invited my users to go test it on the test forum, and will report any problems that come up.

Is there a problem with step 71?

Shouldn't ist be the opposite way? (Search String and replacement)???

Language Issue on Membermap.

If you on BoardIndex or click Search, Help Tab, I see Membermap, but if I am on Memberlist, its display "Mitgliederkarte"

Its happend if Forum default language is english and my profile language is german.
