I  and little Help from MF-B have updated Users Today mod for YaBB 2.2 - 2.2.3

Users (and Guests) Today V1.9 / V2.0
----------------------------------------------------------


Description:
Count the number of members that visit your board on any given day.  At midnight, the counter is reset to zero.
Feature:
  • Added the capability to count guests.  Counter for guests resets to zero at midnight.
  • Option to show or not show the number of guests along with the number of members in the Users Online Today box in Board Index.
  • Option to allow or disallow guests from seeing the Users Online Today box in Board Index.
  • Admin has the option of viewing the Guest IP Log in the Users Today section of the Admin Center below configuration box.
  • Admin has the option of enabling number of guests in Board Index as a link to go directly to the Users Today section of the Admin Center to view the Guest IP Log.
  • Admin can see user/guest stats for forum by day (log file).
  • Admin can view when most users/guests came to their board, as well as total number of users/guests and average users/guests per day.
  • Admin can choose to see log file for X days via an input value.
  • Admin can choose to use this as a "Log Only" mod where the Users Today block will not show up in the Board Index, yet still keep user/guest stats for the board.
  • Hide Stealth Mode Status for Admins, Gmods in 'Guests & Members Online Today' Info Center Section, if Stealth Mode checked in edit Profile - Contact Information. (New)

    2) Load modified files to your server in ASCII mode.

2.2.1? - Sounds like it makes no sense to install all this mods to 2.2.0 Undecided

I uploaded the files I am supposed to upload. What else am I supposed to do, there was no instruction to modify certain files at all. But I backed up my original files to keep on hand.

Here is the link to my forum, it is not active yet cause it is new and I like adding stuff before I have members join.

Installed well, uploaded files moded files and included files, shows under installed mods.

But doesn't appear to be logging User & Guest Stats and stats are not showing up on the forum index.
Is logging Guest IP but have to go to the admin center to view log.

there is the opinion in the admin center whether to display it or not on the page.

Hello, thanks for the reply.

Is it somewhere else besides in the Users Online Today Mod?
I have all those options checked in the mod except the first one under Board Index Display Options (Main Screen) that says:
Quote:
Use only the Admin/Statistical Options?
(Users Today Block will not show up in the Board Index. Your settings for other choices in this area will be cleared)


Thats the only option I currently do not have checked, but have tried checking it too.

Need some helping understanding in the info.

It's stil not showing in forum index but is starting to log users and guest.

IN admin center shows 38 members and 41 guest today, but.... only has 10 IP's logged.... What the duece?
Does it compress multiple same Ip's?

Earlier today it was logging everyone as a guest and logging thier IP.....

It seems to have straightened that out on it's own.

I'd still like to get it to show up on on the forum index.

hey, i had the same problem.. mine was the template..

i thought the mod would mod all templates but it didnt so i did this:

Templates/default/BoardIndex.template

i put this file into

Templates/YOURTEMPLATENAME/BoardIndex.template

it changed a few things like my spacing. give it a try.. just back ur forum up first

nice mod by the way. works perfectly.
