C:\Program Files\BoardMod\bm255\Mods is the path that it created so I will try this with the above and let you know.

Ok, got that part worked out.
Now it wants the path to the script, do I need to pull that down off the server, modify it then upload it back?

You should have a copy of your YaBB files on your harddrive for the software to edit... then upload those files that are altered with each mod.

I will have to download some....I don't have any locally.

Ok, I have accomplished that as well.  Now how do I know what files to upload to the server?

I used boardmod.exe to open that file and found the following:

1) Make a directory "EventCal" and "EventCal/EventIcons" in
the directory "ModImages" and upload all graphics, scroller.css
and 'eventcal.js' into it (binary mode!)
2) Upload the 'birthdaylist.png' and 'eventcal.png' in your
"yabbfiles/Buttons" directory (English, German) (binary mode!)
3) Upload the "EventCal.lng" in your Languages directory
(English, German)(ascii-mode)
4) Upload the "EventCal.pl" in your *Sources* directory
(ascii-mode)
5) Upload the "EventCalSSI.pl" in your *Sources* directory
(ascii-mode)
6) Upload the "EventCalBirthdays.pl" in your *Sources* directory
(ascii-mode)
7) Upload the "EventCalSet.pl" in your *Admin* directory
(ascii-mode)
8) Install the mod with the BoardMod Software or manually.

Speaking on my own behalf I think it would be easier if the directions were more clear since not everyone houses their own server.  Ours is hosted so I have to do everything locally then upload it.  It is hard by reading these to see where to do them or what to download or upload and from where.  Again just my opinion.

I am expecting this will fix it.  I will let you know.  I really appreciate the crash coarse and cliff notes!!  I really appreciate your help and the fact that you didn't give me trouble for not taking all the time to find the answers.  Hopefully this will help others in my situation in the future as well!!  I know how to search but getting hammered at work, the race season starting, keeping up the site and having a family is hard work...lol.

Ok, I loaded Boardmod.exe and ran it on the files.  I then uploaded the files to where the directions listed and I still get nothing when I go into my Admin Center....what am I doing wrong?  It tells me there are no installed mods?

Bump, anybody have any ideas?  I looked for a mod or even anyone else in my area on the map but got nothing recent either.
