MF-B and I have make MessageIndex Sort mod for YaBB 2.1

MessageIndex Sort V 1.1
----------------------------------------------------------


Description:
Members/Guests can (re)sort MessageIndex per Boards by Subject, Started by, Replies and Last post.
After Members logout, the sorting will reset to default sort by Last post.

Demo: GrafiX World Support Forum

Modfile Package:
- MessageIndex_Sort_V1_1.mod
- MessageIndex_Sort_V1_1_BoardPass-compatible.mod
- MessageIndex_Sort_V1_1_search_subject-compatible.mod
- MessageIndex_Sort_V1_1_search_subject_and_BoardPass-compatible.mod
- MessageIndex_Sort_German.mod

Installation:
1) Modify YaBB files using BoardMod or manually.
2) Load modified files to your server in ASCII mode.

Admin/ModList.pl (ASCII)
Languages/English//MessageIndex.lng (ASCII)
Sources/Load.pl (ASCII)
Sources/MessageIndex.pl (ASCII)
Sources/Subs.pl (ASCII) (if no BoardPass mod installed)
Templates/default/Display.template (ASCII)

Upload images from Zip Package.

yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/sort_down.gif (Binary)
yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/sort_up.gif (Binary)

If you have more Templates, then make arrow in different colors to fit another template and upload to yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/templatename/

Thanks for making this mod - I've been waiting for this day for a long time! Cheesy

Anyway, I installed it on my forum, but I see no menu or buttons to change the topic sort order. Is there an option somewhere to enable it?

Hi

Do you have upload all modded files and 2 images?
you click the Title text again like Subject, Last Post, etc...to reserve sort.  Wink

Iwas only able to get MessageIndex_Sort_V1_1.mod  to install on the boardmod. The others won't.

Few problems with 2.2.1 - particularly step #5 that doesn't exist in new MessageIndex.pl

Also, the sorting does not work on any columns and the display jumps a bit when switching columns too.

thats probably because this mod is for yabb 2.1 NOT yabb 2.2.1  Wink
