??? I keep getting confused .... I see post talking about templates for 2.X but does that mean there is a template section for YaBB 2.1 ...... and when I see 2.x is that also for YaBB 2.1 ..... if there are templates for 2.1 how do I find them among all these post .... there is like 17 pages here ....Thank you ??? All the templates that say 2.X, 2.1, Y2, YaBB 2.X, YaBB 2.1, etc. are for YaBB 2.1. Go through the templates on Template Vault Board and see if there are any you like. Read the intruction, read me files and notes fully. There is a limited number of templates for 2.1 but the list is growing.

Also please only post the same question once in the appropriate board.

Thanks but that wasn't much help .... there is nothing in the cgi_bin at all ....

Does that make sence???

exactly, then the files that would usually go in the cgi-bin would go into

mydomain/yabb/Templates/

so after unzipping the new template upload the folder that is in the:

cgi-bin/templates/mynewtemplate

to:

mydomain/yabb/Templates/

then upload whatever is in the yabbfiles folder to wherever your public files are located.

Those paths in the tutorial are just default ones. Every server is not setup the same
