	I’m new to YaBB and obviously to mods as well... After I downloaded the zip file I tried to install it 2 different ways... by hand (fallowing the steps posted in this mod) and by using the BoardMod v2.5.5... Now after each install, I got it "installed" but when I click the button to run the chat room it only loads half way, (so I’m assuming). All that I get is a blank chat room looking screen with a red x in the top left cornner

	Thanks to the few that helped I got it up and running... I didn’t have the correct IRC Net server. It looks beautiful. Thank you for this Mod.

	This just isn't my day for mods? ;( I did the chat mod, added all the files, created the two text files for the variables folder, and chmoded everything. When I clic on the ircchat in admin center it goes back to admin center page, does not even load. I checked the installed mods in admin center and chat does not show as being installed, yet when I did the mod (using boardmod) everything went fine. Any suggestions?

	Did you upload all the files? It sounds like Admin/AdminSubList.pl and others weren't uploaded.

	I did indeed miss a couple of files. Amazing what a few hours sleep will do? Thanks. Chat is now running and everything showed up where it was supposed to. I have noticed a glitch with chat. I cannot log in from the forum if I am on channel thru mirc. If the channel is empty it works fine. Any ideas what could be causing this? I tried the fix from post #66 but it did not help.

	Works great only thing is the chanhe nick thing in the bottom right corner don't work and the /join #channel doesn't work

	with this mod can i only give access to certain levels of members of my board? for example on my board there is levels. the more you post the higher you get. i only want to give access to higher levels. is that possible? thanks

	ok, so I figured out that I have to add some parameters, however i'm not sure what file i'm supposed to edit. anyone know? UPDATE: I see that if I type /beep i get a sound. That wasn't what I meant, I was looking for a sound when a person leaves joins posts, that kinda sound. Any idea?

	hi when i open the chat, i have red x. the log of java consol is: Laden: Klasse IRCApplet.class nicht gefunden java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: IRCApplet.class at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.lo.......... my ftpserver is like the printscreen! can somebody help me? thx and greeting`s sapu

	All, This looks like an excellent mod. 8) However ... I know little (to nothing) about IRC. I take it from reading through this thread that you will need a IRC server in conjuction with this mod ? If so, can anybody recommend a decent source of available servers ? I have my own VPS but I wouldn't know where to start installing an IRC server myself ... Thanks in advance for such an excellent forum !! D

In the setting you have to enter the details of an IRC Host: I use irc.cyberarmy.net there is a list of other host that you can pick from all you need to do is install the mod and upload the files to your server and setup using the admin centre on your forum.
