Palette 4 YaBB 2.1

Some don't like the YaBB 2.1 standard color-picker. This mod change the palette in the post page into 6 gray scale and 6 colors plus a button to open a more advanced color-picker in a pop-up window.

Edited:
Added admin option to edit the colors in the default palette (the 6 colors on the post page). Also made the palette work in the Style Sheet wysiwyg editor. Moved most of the code to "Palette.pl" for easier updates and more "gentle" modding of Post.pl

If you knock your head against a brick wall and hear a hollow sound, it's not necessarily coming from the wall.

I installed this mod ... thought in the modify post window the popup does not have the palette ... instead it has YaBB.pl in it ... uhm ...

My mind went crazy and I don't know when it's coming back.  If you happen to see my mind please ask it if it's found my marbles yet, will you?

@Xavier - nope, didn't want to add a new var. to members .dat file just for that  Smiley

@BlogTripper - are you sure you uploaded the modded SubList.pl to your /Sources folder?

Yep - logged in as admin, goto the post/reply page and click on the "Palette" button. Next to the gray-scale boxes in the palette window you'll find six colored radio-boxes. Select the one you want to change and click on the color you want to change it to - voila!

Minor glitch fixed in the attachment in first post:

The very last step in the mod file should be:
Code
Select All
<add after>
'palette',"Palette.pl&ColorPicker",
</add after>

Not:
Code
Select All
<add after>
'palette',"Post.pl&ColorPicker",
</add after>
