Here my new mod for YaBB 2  

You know this mod for yabb 1.xx as User Online Counter ...
... now in YaBB 2 "user online counter" is standard ... so i have del this function an add a new feature (direct message)


Who is Where Description:

Note:
- This mod is also compatible with Hidden User Mod by "Mongo".
- Who_Link_IP_patch by "Mongo" you found @ post #4

Settings and Features:

Admin can set the "Who is Where"  in  ...
'Admin Center' >> 'Advanced Settings' >> 'Who is Where Settings'

- shows what a user is doing on the board
- shows a link or button to the online overview in the yabb menu
- shows the ips of the users to the admins and global moderators in the online overview
- admin actions can be hidden for all other users (also g-mods)
- user can send 'direct messages' to other users in the online overview (new feature)
- members can hide 'direct messages icon' in his/her profile, so it will not display in online overview
- admin can denable above 'direct messages icon' profile setting

If you have install the 'Hidden User Mod' by Mongo ...

- hidden user will not display in the online overview
- only admin and global mods can see hidden user (marked with a red °)

Included Languagefile:

This mod include "English" and "German" languages ...

Great mod, XTC.  I've actually been waiting for one such as this.  I attempted to do something like this a while back based on the same "Use Online Counter", but my limited knowledge of perl kind of slowed that process (ok, it came to a screeching halt).

I guess I'll have to "mod your mod" with my Link IP mod which, when I get yours implemented, I will do just that. 

XTC:

When installing your mod, I came upon a snag in step 2.  This is because I have also installed the RSS Feed mod which adds itself in the same location that your mod does.  You might want to consider changing that step from an "add after" to a "replace".  I got it to work that way.

If you want, email me and I'll send you my "fix" for that problem.

Also, attached, you'll find a patch for my "Link IP" mod to run from your "Who Is Where" window.  My Link IP mod is still in the early stages and I'm working on a way to make it "admin selectable" as far as IP utilities are concerned, but for now, at least you can see the functionality.

Again, great work on this mod.  It is much appreciated on this end. 

Ok, I've been tinkering with your mod and I noticed one thing that you might want to take into consideration:

When the " Show Admin actions to Guests/Users in Online Overview?" box is unchecked, even as an admin, I could not see my own actions, which, if I couldn't see my own, then for sure I could not see any other admin/gmod actions.  So I tinkered with the Who.pl file to enable admins/gmods to see actions even if that box is unchecked.  I replaced:

I don't know if you want to use that, but, for me, I did that because while I don't want my regular users to see what I'm doing, I would like to see what my other admins/gmods are doing.  Just a suggestion. 

Well really nice mod, just one question, some people tell me than the version to sp1.3 may be affect the cpu usage server, thath was real? or just a mith?

I tried to installl this mod but i got a error on the second step. In the Admin/AdvSettings.pl

Step 2 ... failed - ERR(12): The line to search for is not comlete. Maybe some spaces are missing in front of it.

I am not sure if this is due to any other mod or not.
