I didn't like the yabb2 template so I created a new one that is similar to the template used in 1.4

Attached is a photo, I'll attach the template in another post

default.html should be changed to yabbold.html so it doesn't interfere with the main default template other that that it's good

Hi DelBoy!

I feel the same, the new design is just unprofessional (in german i would say kindisch/zu verspielt).. I already copied the old smileys, so that they appear in the "Add Smileys" Area and the new ones are only optional available. Because I am new to this, the downgrade of the templates were very complicated to me, but now there is your template and i don't have to deal with it anymore Cheesy

Just as a little regard for your work.

many greetings, Jens

...unfortunately, the great newsslider of 1.4 is not available. Is it possible to add it? That would be great!

many greetings, Jens

I have put yabbold to my forum and it the look is great! Unfortunately, a few symbols were not be displayed. I therefore copied all needed files from a 1.4YaBB to the right folder and added the old smileys. You will find the package as a zip-archive in attach. The aditional feature is, that a member, who choose the YaBB2-Template see the YaBB2-Smileys but can find the YaBB1.4-Smileys at the left. A User, who uses the YaBB1.4-Template will see the old smileys at the top, but can use the new ones due to the mentioned box on the left.

Many greetings, Jens

Must all smilies be copied also when creating a template?

No, the smileys are optional. If you don't want the users to use the old ones, delete them from the images folder and don't upload the smileys folder.
I needed additional images (eg. xx.gif, search.gif), which weren't be displayed, because they have been expected to be in the template-folder. And because I already added some images, it wasn't a great efford to ad some smileys as well, thats all.

many greetings, Jens
