OK,

This is a really weird problem that has taken me 6-8 hrs to debug...unsuccessfully.  I'm working on this little micro mod.  The errors I'm getting is when I check for the existence of a file in the boards dir and when I try to rename a file in the boards dir.

This is where it gets weird, you see the syntax is correct because if I put the file in question in a different dir (var, members, etc...) I can see the file exists and I can rename it.  The only time that it doesn't work is when the file is in the boards dir.  And yes my spelling of $boardsdir/ is correct, I promise  .  To make it more interesting, $boardsdir/ works when you open a file.

This mod is in the sub ModifyBoard.  Any ideas of why $boardsdir is not working would be greatly appreciated.

PS $boardsdir is giving the correct absolute path.
