By any chance could this have affected me getting my Pop-up Instant Messages?

I am no longer getting the pop-up telling me I have and IM.  the check boxes are checked.

Also when you hit Preferences in IM, it takes you back to the Home page.

Help  ???  Please

@paclady - seems that you applied Adv. Memberview Plus with the old original InstantMessage.pl instead of the one from the Advanced IM Box 2.0

@paclady

1 - uninstall Adv. Memberview Plus
2 - copy/paste InstantMessage.pl from the  Advanced IM Box 2.0 package to your BoardMod mods folder (Sources)
3 - install Adv. Memberview Plus
4 - upload the modded InstantMessage.pl

Hi  Smiley
I have some weird dates regarding Last Post and Last Online. I discovered the problem the other day when displaying my members sorted by the Last Online kriteria and saw that I myself was online several days ago... Sad And that a member who posted yesterday have not been online at all  Roll Eyes even though he appears on the list of 10 last visitors... (see attachement for this members profile).
What can cause his strange behaviour?  ???  ???

Olle - i'm not sure what the problem is - i assume you have been in your "Forum Preferences and Settings" and pressed the "Save" button sometime after you installed Adv. Memberview Plus... Also, as mentioned earlier, it could be something with the "Online click log" thingy... And remember, the "Last Online" is registered when the member logout

Aha..... I did not know that. That might explain the 'phenomena' of course... ???  Smiley

Carsten,

   This is a great mod, but I have a couple of questions.

   1)  On the membershiplist, when I choose to sort by position, not all of group 1 is separated from group 2.  There maybe a clusters of group1, then a cluster of group2, then group 1, etc..
Is this how this mod supposed to work?  I thought you wanted it to sort all of group1 together and all of group 2 together?

 2)Is there a way to sort by position on the View/Delete Members page?  One of my groups is the graduating class 2004 from my Med school, so I want to delete all their accounts at once.

  3)  On the membership list, should there be a "All" link down by the page numbers?

Thanks again so much for this mod.

Best regards,

astro-pilot

@astropilot - looks to me like this is about two different mods - BHRA's Adv. Memberview Plus (this thread) and YaMS - Yet another Memberlist.

1. This is often the result of having had "Add More Membergroups" installed - then uninstalled it but forgot to remove MemberGroups.pl from your Sources folder. YaMS is checking for the existense of MemberGroups.pl to determine how to sort the members.

2. Download and install the "Select by Groups" add-on from the first post of this thread.

3. No  Wink

Carsten,

Thanks for getting me straight on the mods.  Unfortunately, I never had the "Add More Membergroups" mod installeed, ever.  And I do have the "Select by Groups" add-on installed as well.

ANy other thoughts?

Thanks so much,

astro-pilot

@astropilot

With the "Select by Groups" add-on installed you can not sort the members by group but you can select the group you want to delete at the bottom of the View/Delete Members page in the "Select check all criteria" box and then check the "Check All" check box.

If you IM me the URL to your board i'll have a look at the Member list...

@astropilot - It does look exactly like the MemberGroups.pl error. Are you totally sure that you do not have the MemberGroups.pl file in your Sources folder?
