YaMS 5.02 - Yet another Memberlist SP 1.3

This mod re-arrange your member list and adds a lot of new features.

Features:
  • Red/green "led" indication for members online/offline
  • Admin can choose between Images or Text in columns for gender, e-mail, WWW, IM, ICQ, YIM, AIM and MSN
  • View/hide gender, e-mail, WWW, IM, ICQ, YIM and AIM columns in memberlist from admin-center
  • View/hide registration-date column in memberlist from admin-center
  • Member number assigned by date of registration and shown in memberlist, profile and message index
  • Admin can reset (compact) member numbers
  • Admin can choose between different bar colors and styles from Admin-center
  • Admin can upload new bars to the bars-folder
  • Admin can set max. bar-length to depend on top poster or any number posts from Admin-center
  • Admin can set max. bar-length to 100, 90 or 100 px.
  • Admin can sort memberlist by e-mail domain
  • Admin can sort memberlist by IP
  • If Advanced Memberview Plus 3.1b installed, admin can sort memberlist by "Last online", "Last post" and "Last IM"
  • Let users sort memberlist by alphabet, membergroups, number of posts or registration-date
  • Set default sort-column from admin-center
  • Let users switch between newest member last or first
  • Admin can view members latest 3 (different) IP's in member list
  • Admin can search members by latest 3 IP's
  • Admin can click on an IP in memberlist to find other members with same IP
  • Admin can allow/disallow guest-acces to memberlist
  • Members can add other members to personal buddylist
  • Admin can enable/disable buddylist frpm Admin-center

Instructions:

Upload .gif files from the Images folder into your images dir (in binary mode)
Upload the YaMSbars folder (incl. the bar .gifs) outside your cgi-bin dir (in binary mode)
Upload the YamBuddylist.pl to your Sources folder (in ASCII).
Upload the QuickIM.pl to your YaBB folder and chmod it 777 (in ASCII).

Apply mod.

very important - sehr wichtig - muy importante!!!

OPEN Settings.pl AND MAKE SURE THE PATH TO THE YaMSbars FOLDER IS CORRECT. IF THE DIR. AND URL TO YOUR YaMSbars FOLDER IS NOT SET CORRECT THE "FORUM PREFERENCES AND SETTINGS" AREA IN YOUR "ADMIN CENTER" WILL BE BROKEN.

Hi, I have a problem with the this mod.
I have Yabb 1.3.1, and all it's ok but I want to sort the member list by what I want (when click in members), and always sort by registered at the first, although changing in settings.

@padelman - In AdminCenter - Forum Preferences and Settings - Memberlist area, you can select the default sort column as "Registration", "Posts", "Name" or "Membergroup".
If your changes in settings are not saved, make sure your Settings.pl is chmod correct (777).

Carsten Settings.pl is 777 but don´t sort what i want.
can you say to me how settings.pl it must be so that sort by post?

@padelman - Of course you can make the change directly to the Settings.pl by setting:

$defaultml = 1;

but that is imho not the way to solve the problem - if changes made in your AdminCenter dont save, there must be something wrong.

Did you apply the mod using BoardMod or by hand?

Carsten the changes made in settings save, but the $defaultml = 1;
is always = 1. If I change other option like BuddylIst or another it realize with no problem.

@padelman - just to make sure i understand...

1) If you select default sort column "Posts" in "Forum Preferences and Settings", does it still show "Posts" the next time you open "Forum Preferences and Settings"?

2) Make sure the changes made to your Subs.pl are correct.

3) Which other mods installed?

Looks good but I couldn't get it to run with "Global Moderators 2.2a" mod. Since the GM's wouldn't like it I cut them off, I'm holding off until I can spend more time with the code.

I've left a message for Seawolf too.

I get six errors when trying to install this. I believe I also have "Add More Member Groups" Installed as well and so I used that mod. This is the list of errors I get:

I then tried modifying some file errors by hand and managed to cut out 2 of the errors; step 6 and step 58.  I'll keep trying.
