Well...

First off, Quersys did a great job translating it from phpBB to YaBB.  However, the original author is being a bit of a... well, let's just say that he's being a bit troublesome.  I've got the latest (not to be released yet) version running on my board if you'd like to see how it looks so far:

Nicely done!  That looks sweet.  Well hopefully Jakob will see the light and allow the use of Chronicles for YaBB.

Would be nice if he would allow all his templates to be translated (just thinking aloud).

By the way... I really like your site and forum.  Living history is great stuff.  Ah... nothing like a banger and a Black & Tan in the morning.  The breakfast of champions! Grin

I don't know what the hell I ever did wrong on your forum but when I go to the forum I get:

I: Sorry, you are banned from using this forum!

Looks like I'm banned on IP address somehow ?

Nothing to add here Smiley

Yeah... sorry 'bout that... i was getting a lot of automated nastiness from the 80.178.n.n IP range so I just zapped the whole 80.n.n.n range. I'll dial it back a bit Smiley

Wow.... that's a bit rough, as adding 80.n.n.n in the ban only bans around 16581375 IP addresses Tongue

Yeah, I know... but I was getting repeat offenders from multiple subnets, all within the 80 range. Rather than kill each one as it came through I zapped the whole range Smiley

I also play Ultima Online and created a forum for our guild using phpbb.  I kindof merged two temlate/styles together (liked the layout of one and the coloring/graphics of another - credited both to the best I know how).  It is located here:  http://shhguild.us/forum

The two template/styles I used are:  subPortal http://www.gamerhaven.com and guildwars created by: http://www.niedermayr.cc

I wouldn't mind a medieval looking YaBB template (or using the two phpbb ones I did to convert??  WinkSmiley )so I can move the forum to YaBB.  Really starting to like it better than phpbb.

btw, I play on the LS shard - the guild name is SHH:  Society of Honerable Heros   Grin

Nicely done hybrid theme you put together there.  I really like the colors and images.

Hey Boomer, would it be possible for you to send me this medieval template for testing?
