Chronicles is probably the most popular, that would be a good choice.

Yeah... plus, I think it's the only free one Smiley I've attached the file.

I'm also going to try to contact the owner of that third site to get the skinny on that termplate as well (it's my favorite of the three.)

You may want to ok this with the template author first. After reading the FAQ on his website I think it would be a good idea.

http://www.jakob-persson.com/faq.php

Especially this part

Quote:
Note that you may not distribute templates that are based on or are derivations of mine without obtaining permission first!

I heard back from the author of the template, Jakob Persson.

I asked him for permission to modify his template and re-distribute it for YaBB. I also said that any copyright and contact info for him would remain intact.

He replied:
"You’re welcome to do so but please email me before you put it live on your site (and eventually release it) and let me have a final say on it, ok?"

How's that?  Smiley

Wow that's coming along nicely.  I have a gaming forum... I'll definitely want to use Chronicles Y2.x too! Smiley

Heres what I have done so far.
http://www.qersys.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl

I made some new buttons but I still need to fix a few of the Icons and fix a few more things in the template

Take a look and see what else doesn't look good

Maybe changing the forum icons to match the theme... like the on/off/info/login/online .gif's.

I'm not sure I would change the lastpost.gif, but maybe change the color of the arrow so it shows up better against the light brown/beige.

It's looking great. Smiley
