Hi all,

We are revolutionary people here at yabb.  We can't help but stir up trouble for other boards, and stir up the hearts of our common users.  I have been working very hard on making a Service Pack 2.  I have been working with the likes of Brian, Juvie, Tim, T-Master, and probably a few more on the team, in the last couple of weeks to get this first beta out to you guys by today.  I'd like to say that without these guys there is no way that this would be posted here today.  NO matter in what shape or form  - today was the absolute cut for the first beta of the new revolutionary SP2.

Now, SP2 is revolutionary for many reasons.  It is not only the fastest version of yabb ever, but also the most compliant (can anyone say XHTML? ). It is not only the most feature packed yabb ever, but also the first one to have a public beta test (for as long as I've been here anyway.. although maybe Y1G...  ).

Please note though, beta is only a version for TESTING.  This version should not be used on production boards.  You need to know what you are doing to get this to work properly.

Also, a note for mod writers.  Unless your name is Dave Baughman and you're making the File Attachment mod, please focus on helping us test and fix the beta.  You may start trying to write mods, but the beta will constantly be updated, so it will be much more helpful if you help us fix it's bugs.

So, people, yabb is here as SP2 (BETA).  Yabb is here to stay.  Revolution is here today.

The only bug I have not been able to fix yet, that was not USER error is in the Templeting.

Pardon my stupidity, but what does this mean:

"Status: 200 OK Cache-Control: no-cache, must-revalidate Pragma: no-cache Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"

when trying to view YaBB.pl on Netfirms?

That's what I was afraid of.  Oh well, clean-up on aisle 3!  


Edit:  Since you edited your post, now mine looks a little sillier than it was meant to.  I had the templates folder in the wrong directory.  I'll move it.
