MSN MOD wont work

Sure the problem is that it is Yagg gold 1.31.
Can we adapt the msn mod (gold 1) to gold 1.31? Shocked

That has been asked in a few other posts.
I have seen it on a few boards running 1.3.1 but cant fing any 1.3.1 mod.

I have problem with mine too.  The links from the msn icons dont work.  The program is showing up in admin stuff and on main index, but doesnt seem to have correct links, I think.  I have sp 1.3.1

personally, I don't see a need for it - i'd use the extended profiles mod to just add an MSN field (mainly because the links to launch MSN don't work on a mac, and are unreliable on a PC)

the Extended profiles mod allows more flexibility, and is for SP1.3.1 - i'd reccomend trying that one Smiley

Trillian is way better than proteus,

anyway, I got the mod installed fine on 1.3.1, and I know msn keeps changing, but i still want to be able to show my msn address.  In the admin cp, i can choose msn, but in the profile field it shows the icon but there is no field to enter your msn id into. Anyone know which file that problem is located in? Well i know you know, you guys know everything. Could some tell me or send me to the proper post? Thanks

Trillian isn't available on the Mac Wink - and I like proteus better anyway...

if you have installed the MSN mod - and that's what you are having problems with - have a look in profile.pl - there should be some HTML code in there for an MSN field... - I would reccomend installing the extended profiles mod though - that works properly with SP1.3.1 - and it's a well written mod, that installs with no problems - and you get loads of other cool stuff with that - look in the extended profiles thread, there is some info about making it show an MSN field Smiley
