Attached a fix to make flood protection work together with password security.

This is a language independent mod so it should work in any language.

Just apply to mod (it adds two hidden form variables to the new reminder_answer routine to pass the verification variables correctly (not tested but should work).

Ron,
Unfortunately that did not fix the problem. After answering the secret question, I still get the error stating that the verification code is wrong.  Undecided

OK, quick fix didn't work, so back to the drawing board then.

[edit]
Typo in one variable (second line)

this should be the correct one.

Is it posible to ad a Password Policy, like must be at least ?? chars, Must have ??, ?? and ?? in the password.

This may be a fix to hacks.

Not sure what you mean by "This may be a fix to hacks."

As for password length... why? Not sure I get why that would mean that much difference.

Lets say " password " is your password, its easy to crack, but if you make them have a password like, " !qA2qd@qa " then its hard to crack. and have an Excption list for passwords that cant be used.

Where i work the Policy is.

Password must be
8-14 chars long

Must include at least
1 uppercase
1 lowercase
1 number
1 special char

And not to include
Dictionary words
No names

now the no names i dont think we could do.

Big difference between the workplace's "need" for security than there is for a forums need. The vast majority of compromised passwords are born from the lack of proper directory security... not guessing a password.
