hey Ron, doesn't this mod edit the Subs.pl, I think it did, if not I edited the wrong crap, darn!, but if so it was not listed in mod editor, just wondering, cuz super n00bs may get confused, i know it's a pretty safe assumption that Subs.pl is almost always edited in some way or another

hmmm... i went through the steps twice now and then I even went extra slow the second time, but still now luck, any idea if this mod is incompat w/ any other mods

so far i'm using these:

ext. profile
img. size
yams
yams add ip
time lock

these are all the latest mods BTW and I can't get the refercontrol mod to go either  :bomb:

I'm getting the same error "Step 2 ... failed - ERR(1): Search string could not be found"

Let me know what I can do about this... I dont know how to install nothing "manualy" tho... Thank you

ok these are the mods i currently have installed:

bug fixes
refer control
yams403 1.3

(in that order)

now before i installed yams i tried the regular incompat version of your mod and it worked flawlessly, but once I install yams along w/ the yams compat version of your mod i get that Step 2 failed(ERR 12)...



... now I did a manual instal and edited the mod and all that and I got it to come up, but now when I click on register I get this:

Untrapped Error:
Undefined subroutine &main::validation_code called at ./Sources/Register.pl line 19.

All of them can be found in the Mod downloads.

Most of them only edit a lines of code in files like Boardindex, Messageindex.  So nothing to difficult, nor a reason to upgrade to 1.3, since the code has changed very little.

I would suggest coding by hand....

I am running 1.3, what I mean is, the are very basic mods, and really they install fairly easy.  So there is not much need for the mod writer to make them compatable for 1.3.
