	Howdy All, I have a version of the YaBB Chat mod (Omario, Samm, and ??) converted for use with SP1. I know zantetsuken has been working on one and I apologize if I'm stepping on any toes. The mod can be downloaded here: Edited: link temporarily removed This really is a beta but it does work on my test forum. Functions that need testing: User levels, guest chatting, loading with Boardmod. Note: Some colors are hard coded. Just search and replace in the Chat.pl file. Please, please report bugs, I can't fix problems I don't know about. Thank you. Dan Edit: I activated guest chatting so the mod can be tested withou logging in. Seems to work.

	Hi All, After discussing this with Omario, I'm putting the link to my YaBB Chat mod port for SP1 back up. YaBBChat for SP1 ver 1.0c (updated link to version 1.1) While I still consider it a beta until others have a chance to see if it installs correctly, it has been stable and functioning well on my site. Items that still need testing: Install with Boardmod, User Levels. Dan

	The outgoing chat refreshs approximately every ten seconds. The refresh is a client call, not a server push (right, Omario?) so the bandwidth would be less than 1k every ten seconds times the number of folks chatting. This is really minor for most servers, unless you have lots of folks chatting. The only way I could see this eating server resources in a big way is if someone constructed messages that required lots of UBBC calls, it would have to be a deliberate attack, I would think. In which case there is ye old kick button. Dan .

	hey thanks for doing that too.. been doing so much @ work plus with me writing a shell for 9x* zantetsuken wasnt really able to put all the time that i needed to .. to convert it .. was about 80% done when i saw this post coolage keep up the good work.. sorry i didnt get this done sooner Omario

	modded manually but kepp getting an 500 error! chmod is rigth i think. What's wrong?
